Brodie Turner – Creative Producer, MEAN Projects (Australia)

Brodie Turner is a writer, performer and creative consultant. He is also a consent champion, working to address sexual violence in LGBTIQA+ and artistic communities.

Brodie founded MEAN Projects to produce and collaborate on theatrical works and community engagement events that explore consent. This has included the one-human show Burlesque by Force and immersive poetry work Eve St John, as well as the Consent Festival – a full day of talks and workshops which was presented as part of Midsumma Festival.

Brodie recently completed a Masters in Cultural and Creative Industries at Monash University with a research thesis Consent in the Creative Industries. This will be released as an industry report in 2019.
