Dr Anne Kershaw – Lecturer, Arts & Cultural Management Program, Deakin University Business School


Anne Kershaw lectures with the Arts & Cultural Management Program in the Business School at Deakin University. Anne’s research interests are audience development and collaborative practice that involves cultural institutions working with communities. She has a strong commitment to diversity, social inclusion and access in the arts. Being in a management department Anne approaches this research from the perspective of organisational behaviour, and is particularly interested in the challenge innovation and change processes presents to arts organisations. Her research is underpinned by a strong practitioner background; before becoming an academic Anne worked for over 15 years in cultural planning roles in local and state government. She started her professional career as a museum curator.
